Himachal Pradesh is drafting a Hill Cutting Policy to regulate construction in vulnerable areas, aiming to reduce landslides and protect natural landscapes.

Shares of SoftBank, which owns about 13 per cent of OpenAI, fell over 11 per cent on Monday. South Korea's benchmark index Kospi, home to major suppliers of AI chip stocks, dropped nearly 4 per cent, while Japan's Nikkei 225 index declined 1 per cent. The Nasdaq 100 futures index pointed to a 1.3 per cent lower opening for the US tech-heavy index.

The company plans a ¥1 trillion ($6.5 billion) retail bond issue and a $10 billion loan linked to OpenAI shares as it finances deals such as the acquisitions of ABB Robotics and DigitalBridge. SoftBank’s also floated plans to build data centers around the world.
