The US House of Representatives on Wednesday passed the Lindsey O Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 by 262-159 votes, sending it to President Donald Trump for his signature. The Senate had cleared the bill 86-11 in August. Once signed, it gives Trump discretionary power to tariff the five largest buyers of Russian oil. India says it will safeguard its economic interests.
