Trump's crypto bill faces opposition from Democrats and banks as the Senate prepares to vote on the Clarity Act and new US crypto regulation rules.
CoinEx said it maintained an asset reserve ratio of more than 100% and all user assets were fully backed and available for withdrawal in full.
"A vote against the Clarity Act isn't a principled stand against President Trump," Sen. Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo., the lead author of the crypto bill, told The Associated Press. "It's a vote against implementing tough restrictions on politicians for crypto investments."
A core group of Democrats, as well as Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., said that didn't go far enough to address conflict-of-interest issues they had with Trump's crypto wealth. Their votes would be needed to advance the bill in a key vote this Tuesday.
