Tribunal awards over ₹51 lakh to family of man killed in 2022 road accident

The Uttarakhand State Consumer Commission was hearing SBI’s appeal against a district commission's order directing it to pay Rs 2 lakh to the family under the personal accident cover.

​The award carries 7% annual interest from the date of filing of the claim petition until realisation. The amount is to be distributed among the claimants as directed by the tribunal.
