Adding to this sentiment is the stand taken by Jana Sena chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. On several occasions, he has advised party leaders and supporters not to view politics through a caste lens. While this approach may align with a broader political vision, some Kapu supporters who expected stronger community-focused initiatives have found it disappointing. As a result, a section of the community feels caught between expectations and reality. They believe that neither the TDP nor their own party leadership has done anything particularly special to advance Kapu interests.
